Such a good baby

April 30, 2008

I’ve never had a baby that didn’t cry before!  Okay, he cries but only when we change his diaper and give him a sponge bath.  I’m enjoying such a docile baby immensely!

Check out his hospital picture here.

The first few days

April 25, 2008

Snippets:

- labor started naturally and continued that way
- yay for epidurals
- delivery was quick and relatively painless
- we came home Wednesday afternoon
- the first night was not bad…he only cried for an hour or so and then slept the rest of the night with mommy and daddy (with intermittant feedings of course)
- he’s really good at nursing
- Kalvary and Glory love the baby but their lives have been thrown off and they are showing it
- we’re all doing really well

Malachi Ryan Freed Born 04/21/08 at 9:19 am,  8 lbs 10 ounces (almost the same as Kalvary) ,  21 1/2 inches long and a head of hair that looks pretty red.

It is 1:18 am.  We are supposed to go in to the hospital at 5 am.  However Kris is having contractions now about 4 minutes apart.   I guess we may being going in a little earlier.   We’ll let you know how it goes.

A New Arrival!!!!

April 13, 2008

A special welcome to a new member of our family.

My new car!!!!  What?  Were you expecting something else?  Well, probably soon.

Also, I need to get rid of my old car.

Anyone want an old dodge shadow with 147 thousand miles, no horn, radio or ac?  Oh yeah, and it has a leaky head gasket.  Anyone?  Anyone?  Bueler? (old movie reference alert)

Stay tuned, that baby can’t stay in there too much longer.
