Korban is so fun right now. He’s finally crawling (a month later than any of the others). He smiles so much and kicks his legs or flaps his arms to show his approval. Malachi can make him laugh better than any of us. He still prefers Mommy, but is becoming more and more independent. He has a pretty consistent sleep schedule, which means I almost always get at least a little break in the middle of the day…Yay! It’s hard to believe he’s getting so big and yet I feel like my head is starting to come out of the water. I’m starting to get past that survival baby mode into more of a thriving mode. It’s so good for my soul. - Kris

I SO get that feeling you mentioned…when they get a little older and you move on from the “surviving” phase. It took me a while to come out of that with Zion, because we moved when he was 9 months old or something, so it took a long time to come out of that “can’t look much beyond alllll of these immediate needs around me” feeling. I am hoping it comes earlier this time. Korban is adorable, by the way.
