Glory turned three on May 23. We’re finally showing you now.
This was her first “cake” on the actual day of her birth.

This was her specially ordered “pink cake.” (Can you find the hidden candles?)

So we took the girls to Cookie Cutters Salon in Columbus to harvest some crops of auburn hair for Locks of Love. Below is the before and after pictures. Sadly, Glory’s hair wasn’t quite long enough, but Kalvary has the innate talent of growing tons and tons of thick hair, so she probably had enough for both of them.

Now for an update on Kalvary’s loose tooth… She lost it. The one next to it is now loose as well.

Some of you requested to see Malachi’s kitty. So here it is. He loves to cuddle it. Especially when it is on and the two working legs are moving feebly and it is making a mechanical whirring sound.

His mouth is so red because of drinking sugar-free Walmart drink. Kris has been on the prowl for leather furniture. Something about being hypoallergenic. I personally don’t care that much, having no allergies I’ll admit too, but even I can’t argue with a 40 dollar leather couch off craigslist. I think it was forty dollars because it was in an apartment complex three stories up. Kris even tipped the former owner for helping me get it down.

So there it is, now in our living room, dwarfing pretty much everything. Also, you can’t see it very well, but the girls are wearing the skirts that their Aunt Deb sent them.
Kalvary has her first loose tooth and is ecstatic! (It’s the bottom middle on her left.)

And this is for my sister.

Kris made this cake for Malachi’s first birthday. It turned out quite well and she was quite proud of it.

Malachi loves jumping, or bouncing since he really can’t get off the ground. The couch without cushins acts as a poor mans trampoline.

He is also the cuddliest child we’ve had yet. He really likes to cuddle with a little mechanical kitten with two broken legs that we have. Yeah… Wierd.

Kalvary had her ballet recital this past Saturday. Glory got to dress the part even though she didn’t dance, Kalvary’s Ballet costume from last year fit her perfectly. Kalvary did pretty good, although she was so intent on trying to find us in the audience, she wasn’t paying complete attention to the two older girls who were leading her class. Consequently she was often doing something on her own.

Kris braided the girls hair into a whole bunch of french braids for mothers day. I think they look a little like corn rows.

And finally, here is Glory holding her chubby cousin Kolby.
(Kris) My baby is one and I’m glad! He’s so fun and cute. Some people would rue that he is not a baby anymore, but I am glad. I love my children, but I cannot say that I love the baby stage.
Anyway, today is his birthday and we had a little cake with supper and one present. He didn’t really get into the cake, but he enjoyed the card and present.

Yes, he has a little “strawberry” on his chin.

He was really mad that we weren’t feeding him yet.

Two pretty girls trying on mom’s shoes.

My two favorite “buzzheads” (I kinda forgot the guard and then just went with it).

Malachi is walking, waving, pushing buttons, getting into everything, still not sleeping the greatest at night, cute, cuddly, and almost one!

Glory is all dressed up.

Malachi and Kalvary with a new little friend named Tracy.

Kalv, Glo, and Malachi hiding behind the chair.

Malachi has now learned how to turn on the TV (and also the DVD player and the computer moniter, and he loves the computer mouse).

He also just learned how to wave and sometimes he’ll even say “hi.”

Silvia (Silvie) Raine Miller born March 8 to Kris’ sister Deb and husband Nate.

Kolby Lucas Thoman born March 7 to Ryan’s sister Kara and husband Jeff.

Yeah, I know that we haven’t done a whole lot on here recently. Enjoy this video. I had linked it on Facebook but apparently they don’t like it much.
